I remember wanted to be an architect in my childhood. I am not. When I became a father at my twenties I tried a lot of works: funeral services seller was where I lasted less. I became a photographer by chance while studying multimedia courses and got an internship in a local newspaper which lasted longer than specified in the contract. That was the beginning of my relationship with press photography. I was in charge of the photographers staff at El Telégrafo newspaper in Quito for four years and there was where I found my interest in the relationship between the daily life of people and their environment.

Nowadays I experience life as a freelance.
